Cassava is an underground tuber appreciated by Indigenous people of many parts of Africa, Asia and South American continents who have used it as staple food source since centuries.

It is a GLUTEN-FREE starch, moderate source of some of the valuable B-complex group of vitamins such as folates, thiamin, pyridoxine (vitamin B-6), riboflavin, and pantothenic acid.

It contains minerals like zinc, magnesium, copper, iron and has adequate amounts of potassium.

Organic Gluten Free Rolled Oats (tested GF) / OAT FLOUR

Our Gluten free rolled OATS are Organic and tested Gluten Free to guarantee there are no issues with Gluten sensitivity/ allergies with our products.

  • High in soluble fiber, which helps control sugar levels. May be linked to reduced risk of type 2 Diabetes.
  • Due to its fiber content, help promote satiety and can be useful on most Nutritional Plans.
  • OATS contain beta-glucans (a kind of starch), positively stimulate the Immune System and are also good source of avenanthramides (polyphenols), which have strong anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory activity.
  • They are a good source of vitamin B1, manganese (considerably high), magnesium, iron, phosphorus and zinc.
  • Oats have a good protein content compared to other cereals/grains.

    • A Natural sweetener (rich in fructose and sorbitol) it helps reducing the need of extra sugar used on Peace A Cake recipes.
    • Contains both soluble and insoluble fiber, which act in the digestive system and prevents constipation.
    • Contains naturally the sugar alcohol Sorbitol, which also contributes to its mild laxative effect.
    • Good source of non-heme iron (found in fruits and vegetables) is also an alternative to boost iron content on vegan diets.

        Organic Coconut Palm Sugar

        It is a natural sugar made from sap, which is the sugary circulating fluid of the coconut plant.

        Differently from white sugar or corn syrup, coconut sugar contains several nutrients, such as Iron, Zinc, Calcium and Potassium, along with some short chain fatty acids, polyphenols and antioxidants (Philippine Department of Agriculture).

        It is not a low calorie alternative and still needs to be used in moderation, but it shows a glycemic index of 35 while cane sugars is 60.


            IMO Prebiotic Fiber Non-GMO

            IMO, technically known as isomalto-oligosaccharide, can be made from various forms of vegetable starch, often corn. Our Brand of choice comes only from Tapioca (Cassava) making it Paleo friendly and Corn-Free. It is a sweet natural fiber providing low calorie and soluble prebiotic fiber for human digestive health being also sugar-free and gluten-free. We use a prebiotic fiber in our High Protein Line cookies and muffins as an alternative to extra Sugar and to avoid artificial sweeteners as a common attempt to reduce the carbohydrate in some low-carb products.
