We use Natural Cassava Flour (which is a root) and Gluten free Oat Flour on most of our products (muffins). For some flavors as Double Chocolate Muffins (grain Free- Paleo friendly), Coconut protein Mini Muffins, Brownies (Gluten-Free, Paleo Friendly) and protein Cookies we only use Natural Cassava Flour and no GF OAT FLOUR.
Gluten-Free, Grain-Free and Nut-Free— Cassava Flour is made from Grade A Cassava Tubers and has a soft, almost powdery texture which gives an almost “ wheat like” feel to our baked goods. It has an easy digestion and leaves no after taste as most of the Gluten free flours do. So we chose Cassava flour in order to be able to offer our delicious products to more people avoiding allergens and also to please everybody with a great experience!
Yes, it is!!! To make sure we are not using oat flour with traces of Gluten, we buy from a very reliable company which provides us with a Certificate of Gluten Free!
Yes! Beginning on February 2017 Peace A` Cake is manufacturing all its Products in its OWN Gluten-Free Facility.
HOW MANY DAYS CAN I LEAVE YOUR MUFFINS AT ROOM TEMPERATURE?
Our products are ALL FREE of PRESERVATIVES, but because of the ingredients we use that act like natural preservatives, we can guarantee a 30 days at room temperature for our MUFFINS if they stay in the seal packaging and not under the sun or on a very warm place, of course! For brownies, since they are very moist, we recommend 10-12 days outside at room temperature. For protein Cookies, they can have a much longer shelf life of 3 months at room temperature.
Absolutely! All our products can be frozen for up to 9 months! They just need to be warmed up for a while before consuming and will taste just like out-of-the-oven!
Regular online orders will be delivered at room temperature, but can be refrigerated or frozen at receiving!
We definitely have HEALTH in mind when developing all of our products, but this does not necessarily mean LOW CALORIES OR LOW FAT OR LOW SUGAR. We use the most awesome quality ingredients trying to avoid the processed ones and we believe that any FOOD could fit into an adequate Nutritional PLAN. We spread the message of a healthy lifestyle and sometimes, low fat and low calorie foods use a lot of artificial ingredients or leave some aftertaste that we do not enjoy on our baked goods. Some of our Protein Line Products use Prebiotic Fiber Syrup from Tapioca in order to replace some of the sugar and boost them with fibers, though.
